A Frito Lay maintenance shop in Miami, FL contacted Net Zero USA to handle a lighting upgrade in their warehouse. They had 5 lights with 6 T5 High Output 54-watt bulbs for a total of 324-watts per fixture, and they wanted to add 6 more fixtures to improve the lighting levels throughout the facility.
But instead of adding more fixtures, the lighting experts at Net Zero USA opted to retrofit their existing lights with a brighter and more energy efficient LED solution.
The result is more energy efficient, visible, and safer lighting levels, as can be seen from the pictures below.

Without adding the extra 6 light fixtures they initially requested, total energy savings is 2,064 watts, and lighting levels were improved to an acceptable level per the staff. Plus, the cost of the LED retrofit (product and installation labor) was much cheaper than the cost of buying and installing new fixtures!
