Bowling Alley Cuts Power Bill & Improves Lighting With LED Solutions

10 Park Lanes in Charlotte, North Carolina is an exciting concept that combines the fun of a classic bowling alley with the sophistication of a chef-driven restaurant, full-service bar and music venue. Because regular old T12 fluorescent lighting just would not fit their modern theme, General Manager Aaron Sheets reached out to Net Zero USA to learn about updating the facility’s lighting using cutting-edge LED technology.

Impressed with Net Zero USA’s innovative LED Retrofit Kits, including the industry-leading 10 year warranty on LED strips, the owners of 10 Park Lanes hired Net Zero USA to conduct a facility-wide LED lighting upgrade at their bowling alley. The results have been impressive, to say the least.

We are complimented daily about the LED lights. People tell us that they can see more detail and read the lanes much better than before. We really love the light quality and the great job that Net Zero USA did.” Aaron Sheets, General Manager, 10 Park Lanes

Over 100 T12 fluorescent light fixtures were upgraded for energy efficiency using Net Zero USA’s 30-watt LED Retrofit Kits. As a result, over 67% energy reduction is being delivered, and the bowling alley is on track to save more than $30,000 dollars over the next five years.

Net Zero USA’s LED lighting upgrade offered a 10.8 month project payback including a $5,880 dollar rebate which was available from the local utility provider. And, Mr. Sheets is thrilled about not having to climb up and down ladders to replace burnt-out bulbs and ballasts any time soon.
