NZLED® Lighting Helps Prairie View School District Save Over $200k!
NetZero USA partnered with Prairie View School District to deliver an energy-efficient lighting solution for the LaCygne Elementary School located in LaCygne, Kansas.
With a combined lighting usage of 6,968 hours annually, NetZero USA recommended the installation of NZLED® 160w 9160 LED Highbays, NZLED® 35w 9035 LED HID Retrofits, NZLED® 60w 4060-R LED Rotating Wallpacks and NZLED® 30w 9834 LED Strip Kits throughout the facility. The updated equipment has reduced the per-fixture energy use by an average of 94 watts and has provided a total energy savings of 61.4% over their old lighting equipment.
As a result, the students who frequent the school are now benefiting from a better, brighter space with improved illumination, and Facility Director Bobby Johnson is saving money each month through the facility’s reduction of energy consumption. In fact, over the next 10 years, more than $200,000 dollars in cumulative savings will be delivered as a direct result of this project.
Another AWESOME lighting project with NetZero!” Bobby Johnson, Director of Buildings and Grounds
