Precision Plumbing Taps Net Zero USA For Second Lighting Upgrade, This Time In Warehouse

Precision Plumbing, one of the premier commercial plumbing contractors in Charlotte, and one that prides itself on the use of cutting edge technologies, had Net Zero USA retrofit more than 100 T8 and T12 fluorescent fixtures with its state-of-the-art LED retrofit solution. This project was such a success, Precision Plumbing asked Net Zero USA to advise on another project.

Precision Plumbing had warehouse space where foot candle readings were significantly below desired levels. The facility had 10 old metal halides with bulbs at the end of their useful lives, showering the facility with a dull, yellow light. While Net Zero USA’s LED technology is typically the preferred choice for superior cost and maintenance savings, this situation warranted some outside-the-box thinking. Net Zero USA suggested replacing the fixtures with environmentally friendly T5 High Bays to reduce Precision’s upfront outlay while significantly improving the lighting.
