Real Estate Holding Company Sees 76% Reduction In Lighting Costs Thanks To LED Retrofit
JLM Properties is a real estate holding company with 3 different retail stores housed under the same roof. The owner, James Montgomery, was looking for better, more energy efficient lighting and lower maintenance costs.
After conducting a brief facility audit, the lighting experts at Net Zero USA of South GA came up with a LED lighting solution that would provide Mr. Montgomery with all of the above and an innovative finance package that allowed the energy savings to service the monthly finance costs.
Some of the most dramatic energy savings are being seen at the Montgomery Printing office. Light fixtures that were previously burning a total of 150-watts each hour were retrofitted with Net Zero USA’s LED lighting, reducing their hourly draw to just 40-watts.
On top of the energy savings, tenants have commented how happy they are with the new LED lights. They’re extremely pleased with the better quality of light, and since LED lighting burns cooler, the reduction in heat load is much appreciated, making their retail spaces cooler and more comfortable.
The upgrade went very well. The Net Zero USA crew came in and was very professional and left their work area in as good of condition as before the started. The new lighting is GREAT! It is everything they promised and more. I have a small office with low ceilings and the only problem I have, is it is too bright. They came back and adjusted this with no questions asked. I had 145 fixtures or more and many of my fixtures were on the verge of catching on fire. The ballasts were melted to the fixtures.
