LED Lighting Upgrade Will Provide Over $72k In Savings
NetZero USA partnered with Waco Boom Company, LTD to deliver an energy-efficient lighting solution for their 56,600 sq. ft. office and distribution facility located in Waco, Texas.
With a lighting usage of 2,860 hours annually, NetZero USA recommended the installation of NZLED® 40w 8240 2×2 Flat Panels, NZLED® 50w 8450 4×4 Flat Panels, and NZLED® 220w 9220 Highbays throughout the facility. The updated equipment has reduced the per-fixture energy use by an average of 59 watts and has provided a total energy savings of 41.9% over their old lighting equipment.
As a result, the employees who work at this location are now benefiting from a better, brighter space with improved illumination, and Chief Operating Officer Bob Simon is saving money each month through the facility’s reduction of energy consumption. In fact, over the next 10 years, more than $72,000 dollars in cumulative savings will be delivered as a direct result of this project.
